Why We Should Save Energy

Saving energy is very important for our economy, financial problems, and the environment. Today, our electricity comes from unrenewable fuels. Those fuels include coal, fossil fuels, coal power plants, and nuclear power. When those fuels are burned, they release an excessive amount of carbon dioxide which is very harmful for us and the environment.

If we did save energy...

• There would be less pollution and less hazardous air that would harm the earth

• The environment would look very healthy and our power would be conserved

• If we do save energy, that could stop climate change and also stop harming animal's habitats

• Not only will this help our environment but it will also help our economy money wise for other things our city needs.
